Carmel, IN named Money’s #1 Best Place to Live
That’s right Carmel, Indiana…not California. CNN/Money compiled a list of the top 100 places to live and named Carmel #1. Click here to see the whole list. For those of us who reside in Carmel it’s not nearly the shock that it is to some of those who commented on the article. Clearly they have never been here. Really, central Indiana as a whole is just a great place to live – Midwestern lifestyles, Hoosier hospitality, reasonable commutes, extremely affordable housing, enlightening cultural opportunities, great sporting events, and a world-class airport are just some of things we enjoy. Those in fact might be some of the reasons why our neighbor in Hamilton County, Fishers, was ranked a solid #12 in the report.
Another interesting thing about CNN/Money’s list, Carpenter’s listing advertising partner, Trulia, provides real estate and search data to compile the report. You can actually link from the report directly to Trulia’s listings in each area. Just a little added exposure for some of our sellers!
At Carpenter, we are lucky to often work with families and corporate transferees relocating into the Carmel and Fishers real estate markets. Relocation can certainly be stressful, but it’s much easier when you’re moving to some of the best places to live.
